What is Advance City Intimation?
The Advance City Intimation is an essential communication from the NTA that informs candidates about the city where their JEE (Main) examination will take place. It is released well in advance of the actual exam to allow candidates sufficient time to plan their travel and accommodation. However, it is important to note that the Advance City Intimation does not include the exact exam center address or the detailed schedule. The Admit Card, which will be released closer to the exam date, will provide this information.
This notification helps students by narrowing down the possible exam locations, providing them with an opportunity to make necessary arrangements, such as booking travel tickets or arranging accommodations in nearby cities if required.

Knowing the city in which they will be appearing for the exam helps reduce anxiety and stress among candidates. It gives them the chance to familiarize themselves with the city and ensure that they are not caught unprepared on the exam day. - Important for Remote Areas:
For students from rural or remote areas, this advance intimation is particularly helpful as it offers sufficient time to arrange logistics, travel to the designated city, and settle in before the exam.
Important Instructions to Remember
